Excerpts from Volumes II & III

The Poems below, here to give you a hint as to their subject matter, some idea as to their level of complexity, and of the genre of poetics they are.  All of them sonnets serving as stanzas, verses, and voices in their own singular annalistic volumes.

While indicative, they are not in order here. Whereas in their volumes many relate to, discount, and/or build upon one another.
There’s also some inaugural samples within this Website’s Blog, crafted to be read sequentially, (they are in order)The first five their overture that opens Volume I.
So have a look at them if you like.  Or at the following from Volumes II and III

From Volume II

INCUMBENCY

Dare you in this one, opt for the sacred,
though not in this wordy, marginal song.
Its lines and rhymes but representation,
when it takes effectance to sing along.
Camouflaged before in ancient scriptures,
thought to have had some real capacity.
Said now to be superstitious features,
antithetical to society.
Said in the midst of the lover’s rapture,
baying for more, from the moon like a loon.
Mistaking wonder, for wisdom’s humor,
leaving  truth and candour out of the tune.
Be apples are known by their taste and flavor,
not by what poets put on some paper.

ADVENT

Where everything ere was analogous,
of the same nature and category.
Nothing heartwarming was going on then,
how could they tell a heartening story?
No gifts were given; no tears were shed,
there were no goodbyes, no tender eyes,
much less, were there any eulogies said.
There were no sighs, they didn’t know to prize,
the Neolithic still waiting on hold.
So nothing was named. Time hadn’t its ages,
fools gold had the same value as real gold.
Came then twofold, the first of the sages.
The first Eve and the first Adam transpired here,
to establish and distinguish to make it clear.

INTERDEPENDENCE

Their progeny in time made insular.
Entropy, making it compulsory?
In time all merger, no longer eager,
but aimless, meaningless, desultory?
In that season when all will be driven,
off, apart, everything lost and alone?
No lovers, too far from the others, too
far for even the philosopher’s stone?
No birds, no bees, much less any flowers,
not even an inkling of a story?
Your science seeing it as a given,
that entropy’s, a fate a priori?
Assuming consciousness emanates from matter,
that matter wasn’t born, from out of the former.

Matter making Spring,
   mind making it sing.

REFERENCES:

Entropy: A measure of disorder in a compound, etc.  Said central to the second law of thermodynamics, which states that the entropy of isolated systems, left to spontaneous evolution cannot decrease.  That some speculate will in time disconnect every particle in the universe away from one another forever leaving it (the Universe ) cold isolated and for the most part vacant.

Harmony

Look! in the back wash, splashing on the sand,
the Grunion are back, in from out at sea.
They come in on the tide, to spawn on land,
steered by the sun and the moon’s gravity.
Beginning in April and through July,
burying their eggs, when safe on the shore.
Like dregs in the serf, yet soon to be fry,
upon their mingling with the male’s spore.
Their spawning tidal, always in cycle;
it’s what makes them so prolific and keen.
If elsewise, their life wouldn’t be natural,
bereft of proximity to convene.
If not for Harmony’s astronomical scheme,
effecting all things true, perfectly on the scene.

A rhythmic in Eternity
a melody in Unity

ALSO FROM VOLUME III

Be that the Pronuba Moth lays her eggs,
deep within the heart of the Yucca’s womb.
At night, down along and past her anthers,
when she opens to the light of the moon.
Needing of their pollen to seed and breed,
and a station where their eggs can be strewn.
The formula by which they both succeed:
Flora and fauna together in tune.
Enough all around, ignited and found,
for both to cope and thrive off their power.
To pupate and germinate on the ground,
until when needing again to flower.
In the evening, loving, willing and free,
synchronized by the Moon and Destiny.

On route on earth, this way and that
while still alive in this format.

REFFERENCE:

Many yucca flowers bloom only in the evening with the light of the moon.
